The
National Election Director Office is an agency under the Government of the
Federated States of Micronesia, responsible for the conduct of election for the
Congress of the Federated States of Micronesia, responsible for registering FSM
citizens that have reached the voting age of 18 years old, to issue FSM voter id
cards for eligible registered voters. National Elections are administered by the
National Election Director and conducted by the National Election Commissioner
for each of the states. The National Elections are held biennially in each odd
numbered year on the first Tuesday following the first Monday in March.
